We offer you groceries from verified farms and family farms (OPG), our own meat processing,
a daily menu offer (gableci), roasts, homemade cakes and bread!

In Mlinarica we prepare most things ourselves, providing you with the smells and tastes of local cuisine. Every day we bake bread, bannocks (kram pogačice), different types of rolls. We make gnocchi, croquettes, sauerkraut.
On a daily basis, we make our own mixture for ćevapčići and pljeskavica (meat patty), we process meat for daily menu offer (gableci), grilled and à la carte dishes (pork neck, pork loin, veal round, pork ribs, beefsteak, rump steak, beef/veal meat).

Our own meat and sausage processing!

In Mlinarica, from our own production of homemade sausages, we offer you:

•Beer sasages (sausages stuffed with cheese)

•Debrecener sausages (debrecinke)

• Sausages for bean broth

•Dried sausages and salami

•Češnjovke(Croatian spicy pork garlic sausages, available in the winter season)

•Blood sausages (available in the winter season). The recipe for homemade blood sausages (krvavice) see here.

Behind the kitchen, there is a smokehouse where we smoke sausages, bacon, češnjovke, ham, buđolu (capocollo) and salami.
Every month we select good quality veal, baby beef, beef, and pork from reliable farms. The meat is then processed in a pub, and from it we make ground meat mixture for our ćevapčići and meat patty (pljeskavice). We also process the meat into sausages or prepare it for everyday use, such as daily menu offer (gableci) and other homemade barbecue and à la carte dishes.

Every day we prepare various cooked dishes (gableci), and we try to provide You with the experience of authentic local cuisine, food similar to the one that your grandmother, mother, or mother-in-law would prepare…

In Mlinarica you can every day eat many cooked dishes at „lunchtime“, such as bean broth with sausage, but also many others. Our daily offer of lunches consists of various goulashes and stews (beer stew, beef stew, venison stew, wine goulash, ričet/barley porridge soup with homemade dried meat, sarma/stuffed cabbage rolls, Hungarian goulash, etc.), beef muscles or cheeks, grilled veal liver, Samobor cutlet, and Mlinarica’s classic, a specialty that has been in our kitchen every Thursday for many years, špek-fileki (Croatian bacon-tripe soup)!

Wood charcoal-grilled dishes!

The quality of our barbecue is very well known, so we are visited by guests from all over Croatia.
The meat for the grill dishes we process ourselves, and of that we are especially proud. Finding the right recipe for the mixture was a long process, but the result paid off many times over.

We highlight the following grilled dishes:

Food is everything we are. It's an extension of nationalist feeling, ethnic feeling, your personal history, your province, your region, your tribe, your grandma.

Homemade cakes and pies!

At Mlinarica you can treat yourself with a large selection of homemade cakes from our own production.

From cakes prepared in our kitchen we offer you:

•Homemade kremšnite (Croatian traditional dessert from egg yolk and egg white cream)

• Baklavas

•Apple, cherry and plum strudels

•Homemade dumplings with plums (knedle)

•Urmašice (type of Kalburbasti)

•Pancakes

•Different types of cakes
(depending on the seasonal fruit).

As a particular specialty, we also prepare homemade zagorske štrukle with cheese and bread crumbs.

Weekend in Mlinarica!

On weekends we also offer you a „Zagreb lunch“ menu.
Every weekend in our offer you can find:

•Turkey or roast duck with homemade mlinci

•Beef or ajngemahtec soup

•Roast pork or veal

•Soups from seasonal vegetables (seasonal vegetable soups)

and a few dishes on the weekends that we adjust to the seasons.

Winter cuisine!

For winter days we also compose a customized menu. During the winter in our constant offer we have the following dishes:

•Homemade blood sausages (krvavice)

•Češnjovke (Croatian spicy pork garlic sausages)

•Buncek (pork hock)

•Sarma (Stuffed cabbage rolls)

•Winter pot and various winter stews
