Dubbel Vision

We harnessed the power of wlp545 (Belgian Strong Ale) to ferment this beer with a complex malt profile and an addition of 10 kg of amber candy sugar (1000 L batch), which we prepared ourselves.
It resulted in a delicious malty beer, with plenty of caramel/candy/toffee flavor and aromas, as well as some notes of dried figs. Yet, with it’s high carbonation it comes of as surprisingly refreshing considering the high ABV
