What do you think about the Imperial stout that aged in a bourbon barrel? Sounds good? And what if we told you that to this bourbon barrel we also added Brett and bacteria? Sounds even better? Yes, this Imperial stout, besides being aged in a bourbon barrel, has also been (due to our curiosity!) refined with our culture of „wild“ microorganisms. With that unusual combination, we have achieved additional depth and complexity of flavour. We don’t even know how to define it in terms of style, but we are sure that the lovers of this type of beer will be quite impressed and satisfied once they try it. In its beautiful dark color, Funk of the dark hides the flavours and aromas of chocolate, vanilla, bourbon, sour cherries, and dried fruits and berries. All these flavours complement each other and create a pleasant balance that skillfully hides the 10% alcohol. A beer of this kind is quite hard to replicate, so make sure that you grab your bottle in time!
