STYLE: Mixed fermentation sour
Oh marasca, we found you just at the last moment. Back in 2021, we were trying to catch the perfect moment for fresh and sweet marasca cherries. As the marasca ripens on the tree over time and becomes sweeter and tastier, we decided to wait until the last days of harvest, and almost left without her.
We thank the ladies on Zadar market for connecting us with a local farmer who had the last 30 kg of this finest sweet cherry still left. To this beer we added cherries together with pits/seeds to get that extra tannic-almond kick.
Marasca cherry brings extra sourness and Kriek-like flavor to this Duality. The barrel taste is again well joined with the tannins from the pits, but marasca cherry dominates them in the aftertaste.
If you like Wild Sour, then do not hesitate to choose this one.
