In Mlinarica we prepare most things ourselves, providing you with the smells and tastes of local cuisine. Every day we bake bread, bannocks (kram poga\u010dice), different types of rolls. We make gnocchi, croquettes, sauerkraut.
On a daily basis we make our own meat mixture for \u0107evap\u010di\u0107i and pljeskavica (meat patty). Every day we also process meat for daily menu offer (gableci), grilled dishes and \u00e0 la carte dishes (pork neck, pork loin, veal round, pork ribs, beefsteak, rump steak, beef\/veal meat).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

A modest beginning<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In the summer of 1998, Ivica and Sanda Jendri\u0107 decided to open a pub with a local spirit and temper, so that locals and random visitors could have a reliable and cozy place to relax from everyday life, and with beer, coffee, rakija or tea enjoy the pub carefree. The main desire was to have a pub with a homely and relaxed atmosphere. In the beginning, the interior of the pub and terrace had only a few tables, and the kitchen was quite modest.
The interior was unrecognizable, with wooden benches and tables, and the atmosphere was cheerful and relaxed. Regular guests were our neighbors and people from surrounding neighborhoods.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The pub began to develop rapidly very quickly. Other guests soon started to recognize the quality of the cuisine and staff.
The need to expand the pub and kitchen arose. We also started to expand the menu with everyday, various home-cooked dishes. We also began to enrich the offer of barbecue\/ grill dishes, continuing to carefully listen to the requirements of our loyal guests.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In the past, there was also \u201eOld Mlinarica\u201c. It was very popular in the ’70s, and as well a cult place of its time. It existed since 1910 and was located not far away from today’s Mlinarica, just above Mihaljevac, on the way towards Malinov park. How much was Mlinarica in its time a popular and visited place we can see very well from the popular movie from 1973, \u201eKu\u017ei\u0161, stari moj?\u201c (\u201eYou get it, man?\u201c), in which some scenes were filmed in the Old Mlinarica.
In Old Mlinarica a culinary event Vikend kotli\u0107 (Weekend pot) took place, which brought together amateur and professional chefs, and on which a variety of stews and other domestic dishes were cooked.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
